Zo! Mute is a double performance by South African choreographers Mantsoe and Maqoma exploring human sacrifice, grief, and the spiritual power of mankind. Six dancers mesmerize with group and duet movements, accompanied by hypnotic rhythms, body sounds, or silence. The performance blends South Africa’s traditional dance heritage with modern expression, reflecting on greed, despair, and the possibility of creating a hopeful future through the resilience of the human spirit.
