Maria Iskariot is a Dutch-language punk band from Ghent, Belgium, formed in 2022 by frontwoman Helena Cazaerck and guitarist Loeke Vanhoutteghem, with drummer Sybe Versluys and bassist Amanda Barbosa completing the lineup. Known for their explosive live shows and raw, poetic punk energy, they released their debut album Wereldwaan (World Delusion) in October 2025 via Burning Fik and Montgrí. Their viral live performance of "Leugenaar" garnered 2 million views and led to a support tour with Tropical Fuck Storm across the UK and Scandinavia.
