Jessie Buckley (Killarney, Ireland, 1989) is an Irish actress and singer whose extraordinary range has made her one of the most celebrated performers of her generation. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, she first came to public attention on the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything before establishing herself as a force in film and theatre. Her breakthrough role in Wild Rose (2018) showcased her powerful singing voice alongside her acting, earning her a BAFTA nomination. She went on to star in acclaimed films including I'm Thinking of Ending Things, Women Talking, and Wicked Little Letters, and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Hamnet (2025).
